Simply Safer are offering South West businesses free advice and documentation to help them keep serving during the coronavirus crisis.
The food safety consultancy has advised food businesses that need to adapt to the new regulations affecting food preparation and delivery. These include helping Piglets Pantry, who normally make pies and sausage rolls for sports stadiums, to start up a home delivery service.
Ruth Baker of Simply Safer said “Ordinarily, we offer food safety support advice and training to businesses such as restaurants, cafes, pubs and butchers to increase and maintain their food hygiene ratings and operate under best practice. But whilst the hospitality businesses we support are closed during this lockdown, we are lucky to work with those food producers that want to keep their businesses moving forward.”
