Brinkworth Dairy launch ‘Avebury’ its new soft white cheese

We have a new cheese and it even has a name!

Look at this gorgeous little cheese. They have a thin bloomy white crust with straw yellow undertones. Avebury is aromatic and tangy. Just inside the rind, the cheese oozes out. The centre is smooth.

This is our first white mould, brie style cheese. Customers have been asking us to make a brie for a long time. At 200g, it’s a great size to take on a summer picnic. Have it with some crusty white bread. I’m a heathen and add Brinkworth Dairy butter even though purists would say that you shouldn’t have butter and cheese together. I love it with large ripe Isle of wight tomatoes and sea salt. It would make a fabulous gift for someone that appreciates supporting British artisan cheese.

Buy from our online shop or at West Hampstead or Queens Park farmers market or through our milkround. It’s not available in any shops yet so if you’d like your favourite shop to stock it, please do tell them out our cheese – or if you are the shop – get in touch and we’ll supply you!
