A pub group with four sites in the South West has gone into administration.
The Country Pub Group has appointed Steven John Parker and Trevor John Binyon of restructuring and insolvency firm Opus as administrators.
The group runs The Battleaxes, in Wraxall near Bristol; Temple Inn, in Temple Cloud; Mendip Inn, in Oakhill near Shepton Mallet; and Castle Inn, in Bradford on Avon in Wiltshire. It had acquired the Castle Inn and Battleaxes from the Flatcappers Group a year ago for £300,000 according to the Morning Advertiser.
There was no news on whether the pubs will close or if jobs are at risk.
