Food 4 You (South West) Ltd – one of the region’s leading catering and events specialists has had to diversify due to Covid.
As anyone can imagine their calendar, which had 150 weddings and catering at events across the South West, was completely wiped out and the latest news and guidelines regards Covid-19 restrictions hit them further. They made the decision to partner up and diversify their business.
In August they partnered with the successful wedding venue Quantock Lakes at Nether Stowey where they do all of the venue catering for weddings and events, and they opened KITCHEN @ QUANTOCK LAKES – www.kitchenatquantocklakes.com – a beautiful setting in the Quantocks offering breakfast, lunch and delicious cakes all day.
They immediately launched their events calendar hosting socially distanced, maximum of 6 per table dinners each having its own theme. They kicked off with paella and had a sell out event with 120 people over two floors; then two nights of tapas equally successful and over the past weekend they had a Celebration of Local Beef weekend, where they served boards of sliced rare sirloin, beef bonbons and delicious bourbon glazed slow cooked beef served with dauphinoise potatoes and green vegetables.
