SOHO Coffee Co. opens at Bristol Airport, marking further expansion into the travel sector

SOHO Coffee Co. is delighted to be opening its first company store in an airport location, building on a portfolio of successful franchise partners, in key airport hubs around the world.

With similarly ambitious expansion plans the new partnership between Bristol Airport and SOHO is a great fit. Based in the South West, SOHO already enjoy a strong portfolio of Bristol stores and partnerships with independent artisanal producers – from family bakers, to cake, jam and chutney makers.

The SOHO store, at this key regional airport, will offer travellers quick, fresh, handmade food throughout the day. A strong hot food range is at the core of the offer, building upon the customised hot food range already available across the SOHO high street stores. The SOHO NPD team have stayed true to SOHO’s inclusive vision of ‘something for everyone’ with travelling foodies enjoying hot sandwich choices from vegan meatball marinara, and the dirty bird, to toasted cheesy sausage and onion melts and the full SOHO breakfast.

With outlets across the UK and internationally, SOHO is proud to offer only 100% Organic, 100% Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance Certified™ coffee, together with its extensive range of quality, handmade salads, khobez, sourdough toasties, granolas et al that travellers will be familiar with from SOHO sites around the South West.

SOHO Coffee Co. Managing Director, Penny Manuel enthused: “We have long had in our plan, our aim to open our very own SOHO airport store in our heartland. A regular traveller through Bristol airport, I have observed with interest their intensive programme of investment and improvement during recent times, and wanted SOHO to be part of that journey. We are especially pleased to be working hand in hand with the airport whose values mirror ours, with sustainability and community high on both our agendas. We have a highly energetic, opinionated and committed team who are rightly proud of the brand they have created. Constantly innovating and driving forward, their goal is to make SOHO a way of life for
as many people as possible through offering carefully crafted and original food and drink, delivered with shiny service.
”

“Bristol Airport is delighted to welcome back SOHO Coffee to our departure lounge from Thursday 1st October. We welcome such a recognisable regional brand which supports local supply chains and offering employment to the region at such an important time. We very much look forward to building a great relationship going forwards.” says Tom Hack, Head of Commercial at Bristol Airport.
