To celebrate Exeter Chiefs’ double victory of the Gallagher Premiership trophy and the Heineken Champions Cup this year, Exeter based Two Drifters have launched a NEW bespoke 40% Spiced Pineapple Rum.
As with all of Two Drifters rums, this new rum will be made with a carbon negative footprint so Chiefs fans can celebrate this momentous occasion whilst helping the planet. Available exclusively from Exeter Chiefs Trading Post shop at Sandy Park and www.exeterchiefs.co.uk (RRP £44.95).
Commenting on this new partnership, Two Drifters co-founder Russ Wakeham says: “We’re delighted to produce a second rum for Exeter Chiefs, we’re so proud of our local team and thought it was only right to mark this incredible triumph.” He continues: “Made from 100% UK refined molasses and purified Devon water, this 40% Spiced Pineapple Rum delivers a tropical punch with fresh pineapple, sweet caramel and spiced vanilla notes. We recommend serving over ice with cola and a squeeze of lime, or for a ‘Tropical Mai Tai‘ shake up 4 tbsp of rum, 1 tsp grenadine, 85mls pineapple juice with 4 tbsp orange juice and ice and enjoy!”
Co-founder Gemma Wakeham, continues: “Although it’s been a strange year, we’ve had some positive news as recently hit our crowdfunding target within three hours of launch! We’re now stocked in John Lewis and Virgin Wines and were recently commended as ‘Green Company of the Year’ at the Spirits Business Green Awards. Creating this rum for the Exeter Chiefs is a great end to the year for us and a real honour as we are such huge fans.”
