Cheltenham’s Brewery Quarter will see the arrival of Indian street food restaurant Mowgli in summer 2021. It will join Hubbox and F45 at the site this year and comes after the closure of Frankie and Benny’s and Chiquito.
This will be Mowgli’s 13th site and located next to The Botanist and opposite cocktail bar, The Alchemist.
Founded in 2014 by former barrister Nisha Katona, Mowgli is described as “an Indian home kitchen” and has a menu that is a “million miles away from the curry stereotype. These dishes convey the truth that real Indian food is extremely healthy, often vegan and always packed with fresh flavour.”
Nikki Kontarines, asset manager of Martin Commercial Properties, managing agents of The Brewery Quarter, said: “We are delighted to welcome Mowgli to The Brewery Quarter this summer. We feel that Mowgli is the perfect fit alongside our other quality operators.”
The brand is also planning to open a Mowgli in Bristol’s Corn Street in 2021.
