Sea Arch Drinks teams up with The Seahorse Trust

Alcohol-free spirits company Sea Arch Drinks is teaming up with The Seahorse Trust to help boost awareness of the charity and raise much-needed funds to support its research and conservation work.

Both based in Devon, Sea Arch and The Seahorse Trust share a passion for the coast and a commitment to protecting the natural world.

Sea Arch takes the inspiration for its name from a stunning natural sea arch off the coast of Torquay, near Beacon Cove. This cove is one of the study sites for The Seahorse Trust, with both of the British seahorse species – the spiny seahorse and the short snouted seahorse – found here, as well as elsewhere around the bay.

As part of the new partnership, Sea Arch will become a member of the Trust, will donate funds to the charity and encourage its customers to make donations, and will actively promote the Trust’s news and initiatives to raise awareness of the valuable work it does to support the natural environment.

Neil Garrick-Maidment, Executive Director and founder of The Seahorse Trust, says, “We are really happy to be working in partnership with Sea Arch Drinks. We share the same environmental concerns and standards, and to be associated with an environmentally aware company with great tasting non-alcoholic spirit is brilliant news. We look forward to a long partnership, helping to protect our seas together.”

Sea Arch Drinks co-founder Sarah Yates says, “We’re excited about the new partnership with The Seahorse Trust, supporting the important work they do to protect the marine environment, not only here in Devon, but across the UK and around the world. We are fortunate to have such a vast range of species living in and around our shores, and feel strongly that we have a responsibility to provide a safe and sustainable ecosystem for them. The marine conservation work that The Seahorse Trust does is vital in protecting seahorses and their natural habitats so that they – and we – can enjoy our coastlines for many years to come.”

Sea Arch Drinks makes the award-winning Coastal Juniper non-alcoholic distilled spirit. Inspired by the Devon coast and bursting with seaside botanicals, Sea Arch is a crisp, complex and deliciously fresh spirit. All packaging used by the company is plastic-free and recyclable or compostable, even the paint on the bottles is solvent free, all of which is part of an environmental pledge to ensure the brand has the lowest possible impact on the environment.
