All the Malt ‘N’ Choc with none of the ‘Tease!

New Forest Ice Cream has launched ‘Malt ‘n’ Choc flavour ice cream; a traditional dairy ice cream base combined with malt extract and blended to create a unique, rich, toasty, buttery flavour that is then interspersed with real chocolate pieces for that iconic malt chocolate taste.

Malt ‘n’ Choc gives New Forest’s three-star Great Taste Malted Milkshake recipe a new, irresistible chocolate twist. Perfect for serving alongside a range of desserts, the new flavour is also ideal for creating moreish, malt and chocolate milkshakes without the need for additional malted milk powder.

The flavour of malt has found its way back onto menus as part of an on-trend offering and moreish malt and chocolate shakes are a match made in heaven. The perfect blend of New Forest’s traditional dairy recipe combined with malted milk powder and dark chocolate pieces allows operators to create delicious shakes in no time at all.

New Forest Ice Cream is committed to using only the finest ingredients and innovative production methods to achieve the best quality recipes every time. As with the entire range, the Malt ‘n’ Choc ice cream is produced in the company’s nut-free facility.

Christina Veal, Director, New Forest Ice Cream explains why Malt ‘n’ Choc is set to be the flavour of the summer:
“We have been overwhelmed by the popularity of our original Malted Milkshake ice cream and its success in the Great Tase Awards. It felt only right therefore to add chocolate to our Malted Milkshake recipe and give it an upgrade! It blends seamlessly with milk to create the creamiest, thick shakes but equally tastes amazing when scooped on a plate or in a cone. It really is an allrounder and we know its unique, moreish flavour will be this summer’s crowd-pleaser!”

Part of an award-winning range of over 50 flavours, the new Malt ‘n’ Choc ice cream is available in 4.75ltr catering tubs. In addition to the ice cream and sorbet flavours, New Forest Ice Cream also offers a choice of cones, wafers, toppings and accessories including branded POS material and bespoke creative services, designed to support caterers and retailers looking to make the most of their ice cream offering.
