Severn Brewing

Severn Brewing was formed in 2017 in Tortworth, just west of Wotton Under Edge in Gloucestershire.

The company was founded with the aim to produce high quality, small batch, gluten free cask ale for the pub trade, brewed using Cotswold Spring Water from their own onsite bore hole. The pandemic has proved to be a watershed moment for the business and has made them rethink their strategy, change their direction towards the off trade and focus more on sales of cans and bottles. This trend has happened industry-wide.

With further investment in new tanks, a new canning line and mini keg filler, and a full rebrand at the start of 2021 the business has already seen a steady increase in sales and as they come out of lockdown and back to a level of normality, they anticipate that sales will continue to grow, with more stockists being added all the time.

The new 440ml can and 5L mini keg range have proved extremely popular with off-licences, farm shops and garden centres and fit in perfectly with ranges of other artisan products. The cans also offer tasting notes and food matching options, and with the new eye-catching designs the repeat sales have been amazing with lots of positive feedback.

All Severn brewing beers are produced gluten free and are also all vegan friendly in can and mini keg.

They entered the Taste of the West Product Awards for the very first time in 2021 and were blown away when all 5 beers they entered came away with an award, including a Gold for our Double Hopped Pale Ale, Silver Awards for their Ruby Porter, Chocolate Stout and Extra Special Bitter and a Commended Award for their premium Pilsner.

For more information about what they do and the range of beers they produce, please visit their website at www.s7n.co.uk or email orders@s7n.co.uk.
