Bristol Independent Importers will host their inaugural in-person event on 6th September at No.1 Harbourside, Bristol. Hosted by three importers of family wine producers, Déja Bu Wines, Port O’Bristol by Xisto Wines , and Spiegel & Peach, the trade event will showcase wines from across Europe, including France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany and Austria.
There will be over 100 wines to taste, including fizz, port, sherry and vermouth; everything you need for your Autumn/Winter list. You can meet the importers as well as some of the winemakers who will be there showcasing their wines (covid & harvest permitting).
“We are thrilled to be able to come together and host our inaugural event to give trade and press the opportunity to try wines from Bristol’s top independent importers all under one roof.” commented Anton Mann, co-founder of Bristol Independent Importers.
Meet the importers
“Port O.Bristol” by Xisto Wines solely import Portuguese wines from small artisan producers that put 100% of their skill and passion into making wines that reflect the varietals and terrior of Portugal. They strive to be the most sustainable wine importers from vineyard to table to make their wines as good as local.
Founded in 2019, Déjà Bu Wines is a Burgundy wine specialist selling a carefully selected organic and biodynamic wine range with a focus on lesser-known appellations. They work with artisan vignerons whose dedication and love for their work shine through the wine they are producing
Spiegel & Peach are a brand new Bristol based importer and wholesaler, created to service the Bristol independent trade and add a bit of interest to wine lists. Their wines are made in family wineries, with minimal intervention, and are selected to be accessible in style and price.
