Quicke’s unveils its Festive Feasting Box, filling the Christmas table with the best of the South West

Bringing the West Country’s finest together for a Christmas sharing board to remember, Devon-based cheesemaker, Quicke’s has announced the launch of its first ever Festive Feasting Box. Curated with effortless indulgence in mind, this selection box comes packed full of cheese, charcuterie, chutney, olives, crackers, nuts and fruit cake, lifting the festive cheeseboard to heady new heights.

Featuring a trio of multi award-winning cheeses made at Home Farm in Devon, the box includes Mature Clothbound Cheddar, showcasing the best of the pastures, Goat’s Milk Clothbound Cheese, made with locally-sourced goat’s milk, and Oak Smoked Clothbound Cheddar, smoked using oak chips from trees grown on the estate. Paired with Clare’s Preserves Spiced Damson Chutney, made with damsons from the foothills of Dartmoor, and Peter’s Yard Rye & Charcoal Sourdough Crackers, these are anything but ordinary nibbles.

Joining this all-star spread, Capreolus Fine Foods from Dorset supplies its Charcuterie Sharing Platter, while the Cornish Olive Stall brings its olive mix to the table, alongside Rosemary Sea Salt Peanuts from Mr Filbert’s in Somerset. Topped off with a Fruit Cake from Mrs Gill’s Country Cakes, handcrafted just 16 miles away from Home Farm using a 200 year old recipe that pairs beautifully with Quicke’s Mature Cheddar, this box is a festive feast through and through, perfect for a Christmas Eve get together, Christmas Day cheeseboard or simple Boxing Day lunch.

The Festive Feasting Box is priced at £60 and contains Quicke’s Mature Clothbound Cheddar (200g), Quicke’s Goat’s Milk Clothbound Cheese (200g), Quicke’s Oak Smoked Clothbound Cheddar (200g), Clare’s Preserves Spiced Damson Chutney (200g), Peter’s Yard Rye & Charcoal Sourdough Crackers (90g), Cornish Olive Stall ‘The Mix’ (200g), Capreolus Fine Foods Charcuterie Sharing Platter (80g), Mrs Gill’s Country Cakes Fruit Cake (4” Square) and Mr Filbert’s Rosemary Sea Salt Peanuts (110g).

For anyone after a straight-up cheese selection, Quicke’s has also announced the release of its British Farmstead Cheese Board: Winter Edition, priced at £38. Capturing the essence of winter, the box contains Quicke’s Mature Clothbound Cheddar (500g), Tor from White Lake Cheese in Somerset (200g), Colston Bassett Stilton from Colston Basset Dairy in Nottinghamshire (200g) and Sharpham Brie from Sharpham in Devon (300g), all crafted from milk produced within metres of each cheesemaker’s dairy.

Also new for Christmas 2021, the Quicke’s Winter Cheese Box contains 200g wedges of Mature Clothbound Cheddar, Vintage Clothbound Cheddar, Oak Smoked Clothbound Cheddar and Devonshire Red Clothbound Cheese, priced at £28. Alongside these new selection boxes, other festive favourites from Quicke’s include the Ultimate Quicke’s Cheese Box (£47.50), containing Quicke’s full range of clothbound cheeses, the Cheddar Tasting Box (£30), containing five award-winning wedges of Quicke’s Cheddar, and Quicke’s 1.8kg Mature Cheddar Truckle (£36), a miniature version of Quicke’s classic clothbound cheddar.

All of the above products are available with free next day delivery from www.quickes.co.uk, alongside the full range of Quicke’s cheeses, which have all been paired with complementary crackers, chutneys and beverages.
