The fabulous farm shop, Roves Farm Shop, Butchery & Cafe located in the small village of Sevenhampton (near Swindon) on a family run 400 acre farm with popular visitor attraction, is going from strength to strength.
It now stocks over 500 products including the expected farm shop staples of free-range eggs, cheese, fresh fruit and vegetables but also those less obvious gems of homemade pies, lasagnes, cakes, artisan breads, local craft beers, ciders and chocolate.
There is even a fresh milk dispenser, known affectionately as the Moo Station, filled with cold locally sourced milk from Berkeley Farm – just six miles up the road. Add a flavoured shot and you have a tasty milkshake-to-go!

This is all part of Roves’ desire to help customers reduce and re-use plastic and cut waste and sits perfectly next to their zero-waste pantry; positively loaded with a range of pasta, beans, pulses, nuts, oil, fruit, grains, seeds, chocolate & even sweets. The message at the heart of what they do is that they are passionate about their products, no more so than their offering of good quality meat from the best animals, reared to high animal welfare standards.
They love that their customers can be confident knowing the full ‘field to fork’ journey of all Roves-reared meat. Their lamb, pork and beef are all born & reared on the farm – slow grown & well hung to produce meats that are tender & full of flavour and butchered by their in-house experienced butchers, Gavin and Dave. You can’t get much fresher than that.
