London-based arcade bar chain Four Quarters will make its regional debut in Bristol in the first quarter of the year.
It is set to open on Park Street in the city, in the former site of The Bristol Ram pub. Joining the three sites in London (Peckham, Hackney Wick and Elephant and Castle), the newest Four Quarters will feature around 20 authentic arcade machines plus retro console booths over two floors.
The arcade bar will serve up beers in collaboration with local brewery Lost and Grounded plus cocktails and pizzas.
To play the restored arcade machines, customers need to buy American Quarters at a rate of £1 for four, each paying for one game. Classic consoles like N64, PlayStation 2 and Megadrive will be available to book.
A spokesperson for Four Quarters said: “Four Quarters is the UK’s original arcade bar, home to authentic retro arcade machines and consoles.
“We work with local breweries to provide the best in craft beer alongside a fine cocktail menu and we attract a range of customers who come to drink and socialise with their friends.
“Whether over a pizza and a pint, blasting zombies in House of the Dead, or fighting around the world in Street Fighter 2, we provide nostalgic memories via a mix of excellent drinks, arcade games and fun.”
