100% compostable and packed in-house, RAVE coffee pods are so fresh and so green

RAVE’s Compostable Coffee Pods are roasted, packed and posted under one roof, bringing a range of capsules that are fresher than your average. Each pod is also biodegradable and 100% compostable, meaning a much better deal for the planet than the 29,000 plastic pods ending up in landfill every month.

Breaking away from the crowd by investing in a pod packing machine for the roastery, RAVE has secured a double-win for tastebuds and the environment. Coffee beans go from roaster to grinder to pod on the same day, rather than being shipped across the country to be podded by a third party, resulting in next level freshness and a dramatic reduction in food miles.

By bringing pod production in-house, RAVE has been able to take back control of the whole process, using the freshest possible coffee and making pods in small batches to keep stocks fresh too. Tweaks and developments can be implemented quickly, as the team are responsible for every stage of the process, from roasting and grinding to resting, pod materials, quality control and packaging.

With both blends and single origin options available, RAVE’s line-up of Nespresso® Compatible Coffee Pods includes the Signature Blend, The Italian Job Blend, Colombia El Carmen No. 50, Indian Monsoon Malabar and Swiss Water Decaf. Offering pods for all palates, the range also showcases innovative processing methods and coffee from RAVE’s flagship sustainability projects.

RAVE’s Nespresso® Compatible Coffee Pods are available to purchase at ravecoffee.co.uk, starting at £3.25 for a pack of 10, £15.50 for a pack of 50 and £29.25 for a pack of 100. The RAVE Pods Best Selling Bundle is available for £9.50 and includes a pack of 10 Signature Blend pods, a pack of 10 The Italian Job pods and a pack of 10 Colombia El Carmen No. 50 pods.

RAVE’s 1% for the Planet commitment will see 1% of all sales donated to environmental causes, regardless of profit. Following its first year as a member of the international environmental movement, RAVE has donated over £25,000 to its chosen charities.
