South West burger restaurant – Hub Box – has chosen Wild Card to build its national brand profile in line with the company’s ambitious expansion plans.
Hub Box is a renowned and much-loved purveyor of award-winning burgers, barbeque and beer. With an atmosphere of Cornish coastal vibes and good times, the menu of delicious burgers, fries and sides taste great and is also mindful – with seasonality and provenance top priorities for the business.
Coming a long way from its beginnings on St. Ives harbour in 2003, Hub Box opened its 11th restaurant in Cheltenham last year.
Wild Card’s remit is to make Hub Box a destination dining choice for locals and city visitors alike, whilst paving the way for the company’s expansion into new UK city locations. The PR programme will bring the company’s coastal roots, fantastic food and fun, friendly ethos to life on a national scale.
Richard Boon, Hub Box founder and CEO, says, “We’re delighted to have Wild Card on board. At this stage in our growth, we needed a PR agency partner than can elevate our current comms strategy from local story-telling to big, bold national news moments which grab the attention of both potential customers and company stakeholders.”
Georgie Upton, Managing Director at Wild Card, said: “We are huge fans of the Hub Box brand and its ethos around people and planet really chimes with our own. We’re looking forward to getting stuck in, and enjoying a delicious burger or two along the way.”
The account will be managed by the agency’s Lifestyle & Leisure Division from its Southwest office in Truro, which is also home to Hub Box’s HQ.
