It’s official… Butcombe Pubs & Inns’ The Ostrich is the best pub in Bristol. The iconic pub on Bristol’s harbourside has been named as a County Winner at this year’s National Pub & Bar Awards.
The National Pub & Bar Awards aim to put exemplary on-trade businesses across the UK in the national spotlight, showcasing the hospitality industry’s diversity, creativity and vital importance to the UK economy.
Jayson Perfect, Group Managing Director, Pubs & Inns, Liberation Group says: “We’re thrilled that The Ostrich has been named the best pub in Bristol against some really tough competition. Our teams work tirelessly to provide our customers with the very best food, drink and hospitality so to win at these prestigious awards is a well-deserved pat on the back for them.”
Tristan O’Hana, National Pub & Bar Awards says: “We’re big fans of Butcombe Pubs & Inns. The South West of England has hundreds of standout pubs for locals and tourists to choose from, so to win not one, but two County Winner titles for Bristol and Dorset is a massive achievement for the team. Well done to all involved.” (Butcombe Pubs & Inns’ The Pavilion Arms in Bournemouth has been named County Winner for Dorset).
The winning pubs, which have been selected on overall best practice across a number of operational categories, will be officially crowned at a red-carpet celebration at 30 Euston Square on Wednesday 22 June. At the grand final, 15 Regional Winners will also be announced, as well as the esteemed accolade – the overall National Pub & Bar of the Year, which was won by Galvin Green Man in Essex in 2021.
