Cornwall’s first plough-to-bottle distillery is named in the top 10% of attractions worldwide – in the annual Tripadvisor Traveller’s Choice Awards. The Awards celebrate businesses that have received great traveller reviews from across the globe, on Tripadvisor, over the last 12 months.
Despite the challenging past year Colwith Farm Distillery stood out by consistently delivering amazing experiences for their visitors – to be recognised amongst the very best attractions in the world.
The Lanlivery based distillery, hosts a variety of extremely popular masterclasses and spirit-making schools offering behind the scenes distillery tours, tutored tastings, complimentary cocktails – and the opportunity to learn from Colwith’s expert team to create your own bespoke spirit to take home.
Earlier this year Colwith also launched the UK’s first plough-to-bottle vodka school – offering the ultimate introduction into the world of botanicals, flavour profiles and the art of vodka rectification – to compliment the hugely popular Gin School and Masterclass, already available for visitors.
Colwith Farm Distillery’s collection of award-winning spirits are made sustainably in small batch production, using Cornish potatoes, grown on the fifth-generation family farm. Unlike most distilleries who buy-in mass produced ethanol, Colwith handcrafts everything from scratch on a single estate. In terms of provenance, authenticity, and quality – it doesn’t get any better.
Colwith Farm Distillery’s two-hour vodka/gin school is available at £79 per person, or £99 for two and the three-and-a-half-hour vodka/gin Masterclasses are available for £99 per person or £149 for two. A new 1.5 hour guided distillery tour has also just launched (from £19 per person), to offer a welcome G&T, tutored tasting, and behind the scenes access to learn step-by-step how Cornish potatoes are turned into award-winning spirits.
All experiences are available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays throughout 2022. To book an experience or for further information about Colwith Farm Distillery, please visit www.colwithfarmdistillery.co.uk.
