Porthleven Food Festival returns from April 21st -23rd 2023

The award-winning Porthleven Food Festival announces that the annual three-day celebration is to return for 2023, from April 21-23rd – presented in partnership with renowned chef Jude Kereama.

The free foodie event, a must in the culinary calendar, celebrates Cornwall’s leading food and drink producers, stimulates the local economy – and seeks to raise awareness of key issues relating to the environment, food culture and sustainable food production.

The festival attracts in the region of 35,000 people, who tuck into celebrations in the whole town takeover, with the heart of the activity held around the harbourside.

The organisers, in partnership with esteemed Cornwall based chef Jude Kereama, are busily working behind the scenes to finalise the 2023 festival programme – with exciting new additions coming soon.

It’s tipped to offer an impressive line-up of culinary talent of leading chefs presenting demonstrations and inspiring talks, sparking conversations around food sustainability and produce ecology. Alongside new guest chef feast nights and food experiences, workshops, family-friendly activities, live music, and entertainment.

Porthleven Food Festival’s chef patron, Jude Kereama, says: “The 2023 festival is shaping up to bring the most exciting line-up of chefs we’ve ever had at the festival. Expect lots of brilliant chef demonstrations, interactive workshops, inspiring conversations, and awesome new additions. Next year is set to be the best yet!”

The festival, created by Cornish production company Mission Code, exclusively engages specialist suppliers from the southwest (the majority of which are sourced in county) to put on the impressive three-day event.

Designed to offer an exceptional foodie experience, for residents and visitors alike, the festival helps to stimulate the local economy and better support the town’s community.
