Salcombe Brewery Co. is delighted to announce the re-launch of Belgica, a limited edition Belgian pale ale, which is one of the four beers in its seasonal small batch range. It was first released in March 2022 and quickly sold out. It has just been re-launched and is available on tap in pubs and hospitality venues and in 330ml cans (12 x 330ml cans RRP £25) from retail outlets, including the brewery shop and online for nationwide delivery from www.salcombebrewery.com. The brewery is only planning to brew around three thousand litres of Belgica so it is unlikely to be around for long.
Belgica (5.0% abv) is a light amber beer that has a smooth malt base, gentle hop character and bags of flavour from the yeast. It boasts a gentle, toasty and nutty aroma from the malt, while the yeast brings an unmistakable spicy and fruity aroma to the beer, with hints of pear drop and banana.
