Rich’s Cider launches new Low Alcohol cider for the summer!

Established family Somerset Cider maker, Rich’s Cider is to launch a new low alcohol cider in time for the summer season.

Rich’s Cider was founded in 1954 and remains an independent family owned cider maker based in the heart of Somerset. All cider is pressed from apples that originate within 30 miles radius of its farm. It’s cider is made to time honoured tradition, bringing a “true taste of Somerset” to the cider drinker of today.

Rich’s Cider Low Alcohol cider is a medium sparkling cloudy cider that has all the bite and taste of its alcoholic equivalent. An ideal alternative to a soft drink, it’s ideal for designated drivers, or those who are abstaining from alcohol. Uniquely it has a cloudy appearance, linking nicely with the traditional image of its other ciders.

Commenting on the launch, third generation cider maker George W Rich Scott said: “We at Rich’s are proud of the ciders we produce, ever since the days of my grandfather who started the business in 1954. We have always strived to give customers what they want, and the launch of our low alcohol cider continues that tradition, alongside our desire to bring a “True taste of Somerset” to consumers and businesses across the UK. With Cider and interest in the low and no alcohol drinks at an all time high, it felt right to launch now in time for the summer, so that sales can be maximised for the season.”

Rich’s low alcohol cider is now available from well known wholesalers, and direct for local deliveries within a 30 mile radius of Rich’s Cider farm.
