Indian Rasoi is hosting a charity dinner to support the recently launched NFRSA – The National Foundation for Retired Service Animals.
The popular Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant, situated on Dollar Street, run by Roman Abu, will host the evening on Tuesday 18 July, with a set menu for all to enjoy and all profits going to NFRSA.
Roman wanted to host the evening as one of the founders of the charity, and a trustee, is the Countess Bathurst of Cirencester Park, so very much local.
The Countess launched the charity in May 2022 to coincide with the National Police Dog Trials, which were held at Cirencester Park. Service animals have become important to her since her time as Gloucestershire’s High Sheriff back in 2016.
Roman said: “It will be a real honour to host the Countess and to help raise some money for her charity. I myself am an animal lover and it is important that those that have worked and assisted us are looked after when they retire. The evening will be bookings only and we have already had a lot of interest. It will be a set menu. Please come and join us. It will be a lovely evening.”
