In 2024, the Dartmouth Food Festival will celebrate its 20th anniversary.

To celebrate this milestone they are producing a cookbook which will consist of a compilation of recipes, stories and images collected over the past twenty years. The book will be dedicated to their founding Patron Joyce Molyneux, who sadly passed away last year.
The book will contain approximately 55-60 recipes. These will be provided by a selection of chefs, food writers, wine experts, local restaurants, cafes and community groups, all of whom have been instrumental in making the Festival the success it is today. These include Mitch Tonks of The Seahorse, Matt Tebbutt, Orlando Murrin, Elly Wentworth of The Angel, Holly & David Jones of Manna from Devon Cooking School and Café Alf Resco.
But, this obviously costs money! Because the Festival is a not-for-profit event run almost entirely by volunteers, they don’t have a huge amount of spare cash to fund something of this quality. So they have decided to Crowd Fund and are looking to raise £5000, which will go towards the design, printing and photography costs. Find out more when you click HERE.
Helen Lloyd who is leading the project said “I’ve been involved with this Festival pretty much since it started in 2004 so I’m delighted to be able to be part of this exciting project. It’s a huge undertaking, but I know the end result will be something the team, our supporters and Dartmouth will be proud of.”
