Gloucestershire based speciality & fine food distributor The Gorgeous Food Company announces new additions to their management team.
Following considerable growth over the past number of years, The Gorgeous Food Company has recruited Steve Bircher as Operations Manager and promoted Rhian Benatar who has been with the company since 2022 to Sales Manager.
Steve who has been a martial arts enthusiast since the age of three, brings a wealth of experience to the role and will take on full responsibility for the warehouse operation whilst supporting the company directors with the day to day running of the business.
Rhian a keen horse rider will head up the sales and customer service team and be the first point of contact for the company’s delicatessen, farmshop and independent trade customers.
“It’s a really exciting time for The Gorgeous Food Company and I feel very privileged to be part of such a fast-growing company,” Rhian said. “I have built a good rapport with our customers, and I am now looking forward going out and meeting some of them, along with the other responsibilities of my new role”.
Managing Director Grahame Day added, “Following the lockdown of the pandemic and uncertainty of the wars in Ukraine and Gaza, it is great to be able to celebrate some more positive news. Both Steve and Rhian are great personalities with very different skillsets, their appointments to our management team means we can continue to grow on the success of the company.”
