The Innovation and Resilience Fund (IRF) Round 3 is open for Expressions of Interest.
IRF is a business grant scheme offering up to £30,000 to small and medium rural enterprises looking to grow or diversify their business. All applications must be for a specific, capital project which will boost productivity or create new job opportunities.
There is a 30% match funding requirement and all applicants must be based in East Devon.
Past recipients of IRF funding include:
- Two Drifters Distillery, who worked with Sigma Technical to develop a Direct Air Capture machine that absorbs carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and stores it for commercial use.
- Four Elms Fruit Farm, who received funding to expand and equip their production facility to increase the volume of juice produced.
- The Community Waffle House, who used the funding to set up ‘Waffle Live’, a music hub in the centre of Axminster.
The full list of successful applicants and case studies can be found on the website.
There is a two-stage application process. Firstly, all businesses must submit an ‘Expression of Interest’ using the online form. This will be reviewed to see if your project is eligible. All ‘Expressions of Interest’ must be submitted by 8th May.
If you are successful, you will be invited to complete a full application. All full bids must be received via email by Friday 24th May.
