Daish’s Holidays unveils new website in response to an increase in online bookings

Daish’s Holidays, an independent family-owned coach holiday group, has launched a new website in response to a marked spike in its online bookings since 2022, with an increase of website traffic of 4.8% year on year.

The new look website, www.daishs.com, is now fully responsive with a contemporary look and feel with updated photography and a sleek and simple layout. The website uses full screen width and a block design, making it easier to navigate without scrolling, and provides visitors to the site with the necessary tools to plan and book a stay with Daish’s Holidays. The website is compatible for use on tablets and mobiles.

Paul Harper, commercial director at Daish’s Holidays, says: “The increase in online booking figures we have seen over the last two years are representative of a new, more internet-confident customer base for Daish’s. Our new website and its easy-to-use design is an absolute priority to ensure our customers, old and new, are receiving the best online experience possible. The new site will make it easier for customers to book online, with a simplified process in place.”

The site also uses the ReciteMe suite of accessibility tools, which will provide visitors with a range of different ways to view the site, including reading website text aloud, downloading the text as an MP3 file, changing font colours and sizes, and access to a fully integrated dictionary and thesaurus.

Paul continues: “We’ve introduced a range of new accessibility tools and features to ensure our online booking system is accessible and helpful to all, and our Reservations Team remain on hand to provide assistance and telephone bookings for our customers if they would prefer.”

The Reservations Team is based in Daish’s head office in Bournemouth and telephone lines are open Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm, Saturdays from 8am to 5pm and Sundays and Bank Holidays from 9am to 3pm.
