Meet Little Hollacombe Farm who won Champion Egg for their Very Large Free Ranged Eggs in Taste of the West’s 2023 awards.
“When we won the 2023 Champion Egg Award from Taste of the West we were, and still are, absolutely delighted. I am writing about it now with a big smile on my face. There was some tough competition, so receiving this champion award was incredible. Winning has given us such an incredible boost, I can’t explain in words how happy we felt! All our free-range eggs are packed, sold and laid on our farm, which is set within an area of natural beauty on the Devon/Cornwall border at Welcombe.”
At Little Hollacombe Farm Andrew and Sharon are proud to say that every hen on their farm is free range and extremely well cared for by their family-run team.

Little Hollacombe are ‘Laid In Britain’ approved, which means that not a single egg sold under this scheme has ever proved positive for salmonella. Every single egg produced on the farm is stamped with their unique ID number making their eggs traceable and safe for shops, pubs, caterers, small and large businesses to buy with peace of mind.
Because Little Hollacombe Farm is a multi-aged site they can offer a continuous supply of fresh, great tasting, high quality eggs all year round. It’s safe to say that they truly believe in putting their hens at the heart of everything they do!
