Non Solo Pasta expands with the launch of The Cotswold Cardillo Range

Since 2018, the Conte-Cardillo family has been on a mission to share their authentic Italian recipes from the heart of the Cotswolds with the launch of Non Solo Pasta.

Starting with pop-up stands at local markets, their delicious offerings quickly gained popularity and attention, leading to key retail listings at M5 Gloucester Services and Burford Garden Centre.

Fast-forward to 2024, and Clara and Matteo, the dynamic duo behind the brand, are thrilled to unveil their next chapter: The Cotswold Cardillo Range. This new line celebrates Italian culinary tradition infused with local Cotswold ingredients, honouring cherished family recipes from their beloved Nonna Pippi.

Clara explains: “Our new venture, named Cardillo after the vibrant goldfinch, symbolises our dedication to culinary excellence and authenticity. Each dish is a tribute to our Italian roots, blending time-honoured traditions with a modern twist. We believe this range will elevate our products to a national level, giving a wider audience the chance to experience true Italian flavours.”

The Cotswold Cardillo Range includes Panettone, Biscotti, Limoncello, Pasta Sauces, Arancini, Tiramisu and a selection of frozen ready-made meals, offering busy families a convenient yet authentic taste of Italy.

The Cotswold Cardillo Range is already making waves. Clara and Matteo have secured key listings with Midcounties Co-operative for the arancini and panettones just in time for the Christmas season, and have also partnered with Gloucester M5 Services and Burford Garden Centre, which will offer bespoke, locally crafted panettones.

The couple’s vision doesn’t stop there. They are investing in an online shop, set to launch in autumn 2024, making their products even more accessible nationwide. A dedicated social media campaign will also promote the new range and upcoming appearances at Christmas markets across the region, ensuring their presence in the lead-up to the festive season.

Matteo adds: “We’re passionate about offering a true taste of Italy, using only the finest ingredients from both Italy and the Cotswolds. Every product embodies the love and care we put into our cooking, and we can’t wait to share that with even more people.”

Clara concludes: “Our mission has always been to bring the best of Italian cuisine to your table, honouring our family’s legacy while embracing the wonderful flavours of the Cotswolds. With The Cotswold Cardillo, we hope to create something truly special — a taste of Italy that sings with every bite.”
