RAW kicks off 2025 with two new business wins and an award shortlisting

Specialist food and drink PR agency RAW has started 2025 with a bang with two new business wins and as one of the agencies shortlisted for PR Company/In-house Team of the Year in Roxhill Media’s inaugural PR Awards which take place later this month.

RAW will be working for Cornwall’s Firebrand Brewing Company on their non-alcoholic craft beer products Shorebreak, a hazy pale ale, and its Little Wave lager. Originally based in a converted milking parlour on the untamed edge of Bodmin Moor, the brewing company moved to larger Cornish premises in 2021 due to an increase in demand.

Firebrand’s co-owner Joe Thompson said: “RAW has an excellent demonstrable track record in drinks PR so it was an easy decision to bring them onboard to help us raise our profile as we look to develop business further in 2025.”

In addition, pizza restaurant The Stable has signed up RAW to manage PR for its new Padstow opening. With restaurants in Fistral, Bath, Bristol, Cardiff and Birmingham, amongst other locations, the company will be opening the doors to its new Padstow home in early Spring. RAW will be managing press activity and a launch event for the growing fresh pizza restaurant brand known for its use of British produce in their fresh sourdough pizza bases and toppings.

Kate Tomlinson, Group Marketing Manager of The Stable commented: “We were really impressed with RAW’s experience, energy and contacts in the West Country region and are delighted to be working with them on our exciting Padstow opening.”

RAW has also recently been shortlisted for the PR Company/In-house Team of the Year category in the inaugural Roxhill Media Awards which are taking place in London in late January. It is the only UK consumer awards where all winning entries are chosen exclusively by journalists.

Co-Director Hayley Reynolds said: “I’m really thrilled that the skill, strategy and results generated by the RAW team for our clients have been recognised in this way. As a regional agency we most definitely punch above our weight.” Hayley founded RAW in 2011 and Jonathan Reynolds joined as a director in 2017. The agency has ambitious growth plans and its portfolio includes Kamado Joe, DukesHill, JING Tea, Matthews Cotswold Flour, Sandford Orchards, Luscombe Drinks, Salcombe Gin, Voyager Coffee, Black Bee Honey, Russell & Atwell, Sharpham Dairy, Hattiers Rum, Darts Farm and Flapjackery. RAW also works with Food WorksSW, Food Drink Devon and the Brend Collection as well as sponsoring the Great Cornish Food Awards.
