Teagan Rowlands-Bryant launched Moosh Mallows in 2021 after losing her job during the pandemic and having her second baby. Teagan needed to get back to work but couldn’t find anything that worked around two small children, so she took to the kitchen and after a sticky experiment making a batch of blackcurrant marshmallows she had a light-bulb moment.
Moosh Mallows was launched a month later and Teagan has entered products into the Taste of the West Awards every year since then – winning Gold five times and Silver once. Moosh Mallows have been named a finalist product for the last two years, and in 2024 the Peppermint and Dark Chocolate Moosh was crowned Champion Confectionery product of the year!
“I am so proud and love what I do. I have met some amazing people through Taste of the West and felt the platform has really helped my business to grow. Winning a Champion Taste of the West Award is the cherry on top! Running a product-based business where I make everything can be tough, so winning this award is amazing and makes it all worthwhile.”

Moosh Mallows, made in Cornwall, are whipped up using fresh ingredients, then hand cut into chunky cubes of fluff. The ingredients are responsibly sourced and the packaging is uncompromisingly eco too. The box is recyclable cardboard and made from a percentage of recycled materials – as are the tape, card and stickers; the cellophane not only keeps the Moosh Mallows fresh, it is also eco friendly and compostable making sure we impact the environment as little as possible. You won’t find any single use plastic here.
