Luscombe unveils new brand identity to celebrate 50th anniversary

Continuously setting the standard for premium soft drinks, Luscombe has announced a bold and vibrant brand refresh to mark its 50th anniversary. With a rich history and an exciting future ahead, Luscombe is committed to crafting exceptional soft drinks and mixers using the finest ingredients.

A refined and contemporary look that remains unmistakably Luscombe, the brand refresh will roll out across all packaging, digital platforms, advertising and POS next month. Always proud to produce grown up soft drinks with character, Luscombe’s bottles and cans will now feature individual product tasting notes and founder Gabriel David’s signature alongside a modern take on its instantly recognisable stripe. Now composed of graphics, the stripe and bottle’s distinctive neck label highlight the drinks’ ingredients and taste experience.

Founded in Devon in 1975, Luscombe has evolved from a small family business producing cider into one of the UK’s most respected soft drinks brands. Celebrated for its dedication to quality and environmental responsibility, Luscombe was the first drinks brand to gain organic accreditation from the Soil Association in the UK and has since gone on to be awarded a King’s Royal Warrant.

Its product range now includes soft drinks, bubblies, juices, ginger beers, crushes and tonics which are available across the world.

Gabriel David, who took over and grew the business from his father, Julian, reflects on Luscombe’s remarkable journey: “Over the past 50 years, Luscombe has been defined by a passion for quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. When I took the reins, I wanted to build on my father’s legacy while creating something truly special. Seeing Luscombe grow from a small farm-based operation to a multi-award-winning brand has been an incredible journey. Over the years, we have been honoured with Royal Warrants, more than 100 Great Taste Awards and received recognition for our commitment to organic farming and the environment. It’s a privilege to see how far we have come and I couldn’t be prouder of the reputation we’ve built for exceptional soft drinks made with integrity and care.”

As Luscombe enters a new chapter, the fresh visual identity reflects on its heritage and prepares for its future. Scott Cooper, Luscombe’s newly appointed Managing Director, comments: “Our new visual identity is a natural evolution of Luscombe’s story – one that celebrates our rich heritage while setting us up for the next stage of growth. It captures the essence of what makes Luscombe special: our dedication to producing the highest quality soft drinks with a deep respect for nature and craftsmanship. It modernises our identity while ensuring that Luscombe remains instantly recognisable and trusted by our loyal customers. As we look ahead, we’re focused on strengthening our position as a leader in the premium soft drinks market, expanding our reach and continuing to innovate while staying true to the values that have made Luscombe what it is today.”

Luscombe is based in a valley on Dartmoor in South Devon, where every drink is produced onsite by blending the finest organic fruits sourced from the world’s best farmers and growers with its own source of Dartmoor spring water.
