Padstow Christmas Fayre launches new shop

Padstow Christmas Fayre is launching a new shop, celebrating Cornish creativity, with donations from each sale going to The Fisherman’s Mission and Padstow Lifeboat.

The new free to attend four-day festive food event, is set to take place around the pretty harbour town of Padstow, from Dec 4th – 7th offering a magical celebration of the season.

The Fayre’s exciting new shop showcases a handpicked collection of beautiful items created by Cornish artists – inspired by folklore traditions and yuletide celebrations – makers and producers; from art to homewares and festive gifts, influenced by the magic of Padstow.

In a special collaboration, the Fayre’s partnered with Padstow-based Southwestern Distillery to create a limited-edition Tarquin’s Padstow Christmas Fayre Gin. The festive small-batch spirit is infused with handpicked violets and fresh orange zest, capturing the flavours of the season and the spirit of the Cornish Coast.

The curated collection also offers handprinted artwork, Christmas cards, tea towels, tote bags, a Cornish wine box and indulgent Christmas hamper – bursting with goodies such as Paul Ainsworth’s ‘For The Love of Food’ cookbook, Camel Valley Brut, Cornish Larder Figgy Pudding Chutney, a Stein’s Padstow Christmas candle, and lots more.

In true community spirit, a donation from every sale will support The Fishermen’s Mission and Padstow Lifeboat (RNLI) — two organisations rooted in Cornwall’s maritime heritage, who take care of communities year-round.

Ben Carrington, of event organisers Mission Code, says: “The Fayre is about celebrating the best of Cornwall — its food, creativity, and community. Our collaboration with Tarquin’s and the launch of our new shop helps bring that spirit to life, allowing us to spotlight incredible local producers while supporting those who look after our coastal communities year-round.”

Padstow Christmas Fayre promises a vibrant programme of 50 chef demonstrations – including Rick Stein & Paul Ainsworth – food & drink masterclasses, a Christmas market, family activities, carols, fireworks and an enchanting lantern display.

The shop is now live online via www.padstowchristmasfayre.co.uk, and will also be in the Christmas Market at Padstow Christmas Fayre 2025.
