Padstow announces full line-up for Christmas Fayre

Padstow is set to sparkle this weekend with the launch of the brand-new Padstow Christmas Fayre, a four-day festive celebration taking place 4–7 December 2025.

This vibrant new food event is free for all to attend, bringing together some of the very best of culinary talent, plus live music, markets and family-friendly activities – whilst also raising funds and awareness for The Fisherman’s Mission, Hospitality Action and Padstow Lifeboat.

Ben Carrington, one of the organisers of Padstow Christmas Fayre, says: “We’re excited to welcome visitors to the new Padstow Christmas Fayre this weekend. Our aim is to celebrate the incredible talent, flavours and festive spirit that makes Padstow and Cornwall so special. From artisan food producers, to live demonstrations with exceptional chefs, live music, children’s crafts and a beautiful array or local makers and producers – there is heaps to explore. We can’t wait to share the magic with everyone from Thursday.”

Food lovers will be spoilt for choice with an impressive programme of 50 live chef demonstrations, featuring renowned local and guest chefs showcasing seasonal dishes, Christmas classics, and innovative winter flavours. The line-up includes Rick Stein, Paul Ainsworth, Emily Scott, Mark Hix, Mitch Tonks, Rick Toogood, Charlie Walters, Olly Smith, Chris Eden and many more. See the full line-up here.

The Chef’s Theatre is free to attend, with standing and seated options, allocated on a first come first serve basis for each demo. The newly launched Chef’s Theatre VIP tickets, offering a guaranteed front row seat, have sold out for Friday and Saturday – but there is a handful left for Thursday and Sunday.

Stroll through the bustling Christmas Market and craft fair in the Memorial Hall, where independent makers, producers, and artisans will offer handcrafted gifts, festive treats, and locally sourced delicacies. See all the traders here.

On Friday evening a magical lantern parade, will light up Padstow’s harbour streets with community-crafted lanterns and joyful performances at 6pm. Followed by a dazzling fireworks display, illuminating the town with festive cheer, at 8pm – kindly sponsored by Padstow Harbour Commissioners, as a gift for the community.

There is also a full programme of live music, from local groups, choirs and solo artists taking place across the weekend on the Band Stand and on the Christmas Market stage – as the soundtrack to the festive celebrations.

Free Christmas craft workshops for children are running on Saturday and Sunday (10.30-1pm), in a pop-up venue at Prideaux Walled Garden. Young visitors can get creative with festive creations, guided by friendly workshop leaders – while the Prideaux Walled Garden Bothy Café hosts a delicious array of hot drinks, mulled wine, stew and fresh bakes.

For those looking to learn a new skill and learn from the experts, there are a range of food and drink masterclasses taking place – try Christmas wine tasting with local sommelier Elly Owen, and Olly Smith, beer tasting with Bluntrock Brewery or learn how to build soil health for an abundant year in the garden, with head gardener Emma Restorick of Prideaux Walled Garden. Tickets here.

Padstow Christmas Fayre is designed as a welcoming, community-focused celebration that showcases the counties passion for food, craft, and festive spirit. With something for every age and appetite, the event promises to become a highlight of Cornwall’s winter calendar.
