Darts Farm marks 55 years with Summer Festival celebration

Darts Farm is celebrating a remarkable milestone – 55 years since of ‘Darts Farm’ and they are celebrating with a three-day Summer Festival from 12th to 14th June 2026.

The long weekend community celebrations include live music, from legendary local band Mad Dog Mcrea and The Luke Combs Experience, with a vibrant line-up of local talent. Food lovers can look forward to long-table open-fire feasts in their pop-up teepee restaurant, hosted by their flagship restaurant, The Farm Table, as well as Mark Hix and Ben Tonks of The Seahorse, Dartmouth, while a bustling market will celebrate local producers, artisan makers, and the best of Devon’s food and drink scene.

For those looking to unwind, the festival will also feature a pop-up wood-fired sauna and cold plunge, offering a wellbeing twist to the celebrations. Families will be well catered for too, with plenty of activities and entertainment to keep younger visitors busy throughout the weekend from rodeo sheep to farm tours. All in celebration of the farm’s heritage and local community. The festival promises to showcase the very best of Devon’s food, drink, music and hospitality!

Michael Dart of Darts Farm says: “We’re thrilled to be celebrating 55 years since PicFresh – now Darts Farm – with a festival that brings together so many of the things we love most: local food and drink, live music, wellness, family fun, and our amazing community. It feels like the perfect way to mark such a special milestone.”

Across three days, visitors can enjoy live music from some of the South West’s best artists. From foot-stomping folk and soulful blues to high-energy rock, jazz and country, Enjoy standout performances from festival favourites Mad Dog Mcrea, the country anthems of The Luke Combs Experience, and high-spirited folk of Red Dirt Band.

Darts Farm 50 years ago

A key feature of the weekend will be Club 55, an exclusive pop-up long-table dining experience set in the farm’s teepees. Each day will feature a long lunch prepared by iconic guest chefs. Kicking off Friday by bringing Darts Farm’s The Farm Table to the field, grilling Ruby Red beef & farm vegetables over fire. Saturday will be a Seahorse takeover, with Ben Tonks & his team from the iconic Dartmouth restaurant celebrating the best local seafood & generous hospitality. Sunday will be a long lunch with the one & only Mark Hix, one of Britains most treasured chefs & a true culinary genius. Tickets will include a welcome drink, a four-course lunch, access to the pop-up restaurant space and entry to the wider festival.

A curated series of demonstrations, tastings and talks. The perfect way to learn new skills and be inspired by the best in the business. Examples include; A guide through the foundations of fermentation with Rachel de Thample of River Cottage, cooking demos from acclaimed chefs Mark Hix and Ben Tonks of The Seahorse, the Gut Bursting Myths of Nutrition answered with Tamara Bennett, signature serves and seasonal pours with a Salcombe Gin, delve into The World of Cider with Barny Butterfield of Sandford Orchards, explore the craftmanship behind British Farmhouse Cheese with Mary Quicke of Quicke’s Cheese and Greg Parsons of Sharpham Cheese and pick up expert tips and techniques from their skilled Master Butchers, Cow & Cacao Chocolatiers & Florists!

Visitors will also be able to taste their way through the Artisan Producer Market, showcasing local makers and suppliers such as; Barbuoy Cocktails, Cornwall Pasta, Flapjackery, Vicky’s Bread and Luscombe Drinks, many of whom have worked with Darts Farm since the beginning.

Enjoy a selection of incredible local food and drink all weekend long. From Darts Farm’s iconic Hog Roast, to nourishing Asian street food from Red Panda, wood-fired pizza from Pizza Lenga, fresh pasta from RaviOllie, Sardine Rolls from Rockfish and a fully stocked bar, pouring local tipples; Sandford Orchards and Otter Brewery. Plus speciality Coffee, Cow & Cacao Soft Serve, and plenty more!

For those wanting a moment to unwind and recharge, the festival will feature wellness experiences including Darts Farm Wellness Spa treatments, yoga and mat pilates and even a wood-fired sauna and Lumi cold plunge.

Plenty of fun for all ages, from live music, magic shows, Darts dog show, the crowd-favourite rodeo sheep, farm tours, face-painting, marshmallow toasting, and more.
