Lyme Bay Winery is celebrating a stellar season of recognition, having secured an impressive haul of 18 medals across four of the wine industry’s most competitive events this year. The success across the International Wine & Spirits Competition (IWSC), International Wine Challenge (IWC), Decanter World Wine Awards and the WineGB Awards reinforces the winery’s position as England’s most awarded still wine producer*.
This year’s results were highlighted by a standout performance at the Decanter World Wine Awards, where Lyme Bay Winery achieved its best results since 2020, securing three Silver medals and one Bronze. Notably, both its Bacchus Block 2025 and Pinot Noir 2024 were recognised with awards at all four major competitions, helping to bring Lyme Bay Winery’s tally of medals across the four awards to 83 since 2021.

Decanter World Wine Awards 2026:
- Silver: Pinot Noir 2024 (90 points) – “Perfumed nose of raspberry and rosehip. Ripe red cherry and plum flavours with a savoury note on the finish.”
- Silver: Bacchus Block 2025 (90 points) – “Blossom and chamomile aromas, leading to a ripe style with juicy stone fruit, vibrant lemon acidity and hints of nettle.”
- Silver: M&S Bacchus 2025 (90 points) – “Delicate floral aromas, lively acidity balanced by bright passionfruit and sweet grapefruit, a sophisticated smoky note and nice length.”
- Bronze: Shoreline Rosé 2025 (87 points) – “Citrus and red berries on the nose; bright strawberry and raspberry with a touch of hedgerow on the palate.”
WineGB Awards 2026:
- Silver: Pinot Noir 2024.
