Daish’s Holidays invests £1.2 million in coach fleet upgrade

Daish’s Holidays, the independent family-owned UK coach holiday group, has invested £1.2 million in four new luxury Mercedes-Benz Tourismo coaches as part of its ongoing fleet renewal programme.

The four Tourismo touring coaches replace older models in the company’s 32-strong fleet, reflecting its commitment to providing holidaymakers with a comfortable, safe, and reliable travel experience.

The coaches will clock-up almost 100,000 km per year, carrying holidaymakers from pick-up points between West Yorkshire and Cornwall to the 11 hotels in the Daish’s portfolio. Each vehicle is powered by a Euro VI-compliant engine designed to reduce emissions and improve fuel efficiency. Onboard features include 53 ergonomic seats with fold-out tray tables and adjustable footrests, fully automated rooftop air conditioning, washroom facilities, and an extensive luggage capacity for passengers’ bags.

Paul Harper, commercial director at Bournemouth-based Daish’s Holidays, said: “This £1.2 million investment underlines our commitment to keeping our fleet modern, dependable and efficient. By introducing the latest Mercedes-Benz coaches, we’re raising comfort and safety standards across our fleet so customers can relax from the moment their holiday begins as they step on board.”
