‘The Great British Bounce Back’ is a free PR platform through which pubs, restaurants, hotels, caterers and other hospitality companies can have their views published in the big media – for free!
As one of the sectors hardest hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, hospitality companies, from pubs and restaurants to hotels and caterers, now have a free tool through which their voices can be heard in both the local and national media.
The Great British Bounce Back, which launched during lockdown, is a free membership platform that alerts hospitality firms to relevant breaking news stories in the media and then puts their views in front of local and national journalists at no cost.
The platform was created by established PR firm, Rhizome Media, to help businesses in the hardest hit sectors of the economy bounce back and, at the very least, have a voice and their stories told.
To date, The Great British Bounce Back has secured publicity for hundreds of small and micro businesses and charities from all sectors but it now focusing its efforts on the hardest hit areas of the economy, which includes hospitality.
Members in the media to date include Caroline Roylance of The George in Fordingbridge, Hampshire on the BBC website and Derby-based caterer, The Butler’s Pantry, in the Derby Telegraph.
Dominic Hiatt, Founder, The Great British Bounce Back, commented: “By a distance, hospitality has been one of the hardest hit sectors of the UK economy during the pandemic to date and while we can’t solve the problems companies face, we can at least ensure their voices are heard, especially now that the country is seeing ever more regional lockdowns. Through The Great British Bounce Back, we’re giving pubs and restaurants, hotels and caterers a free platform through which they can have the choice to comment on news stories that are relevant to them in both their local and the national media. The Covid-19 pandemic is an unprecedented economic event and it’s vital that those business owners impacted the most by it have their stories told.”
