The company has partnered with stately homes and their sought-after grounds, enabling high-end outdoor getaways throughout the summer season. Working with local suppliers and countryside pubs – Kymani Getaways offers guests a fully-serviced glamping experience, from the comfort of beautifully furnished traditional bell tents.
Born out of a shared frustration with the difficulty finding beautiful high-end glamping sites, Kymani Getaways is ideal for small groups, couples and also caters for corporate and larger family getaways, providing a fully serviced glamping experience, from the heart of the great outdoors.
Kymani Getaways’ guests can choose idyllic retreat locations in Wiltshire on the grounds of the Grade I* listed mansion at Charlton Park, Suffolk and the grounds at the Tudor Kentwell Hall, Hampshire’s unparalleled 19th century country house, The Grange and Godstone Valley in Surrey, only an hour from London.
Each Kymani Getaways site boasts 10 beautifully furnished bell tents, sleeping 2-4 guests. At the centre of each site is a giant tipi with a banquet table for long summer dinners, a library, lounge and games area for whiling away into the small hours of the morning. Each luxury tent includes home comforts or linen, towels and bedding as well as hot showers and facilities to make the outdoors feel like the indoors.
Catering is top of the agenda, with sharing good food being a central part of the Kymani Getaways ethos. Aiming to take away the stresses of shopping and planning, Kymani are working with local farmers, suppliers and restaurants to offer a fully catered dinner, bed and breakfast service include in the price. Breakfast will feature the finest produce (local to each site) whilst dinner will be served, family-style, at long, decorated tables in the communal Tipi tent. All with the aim of Kymani escapes enabling quality time together, without the worries of everyday life.
On launching in summer 2021, co-founders Olivette Asare and Cheryl Carroll said, “We’re both really passionate about everything outdoors – camping, festivals, hiking, glamping – and when the events industry collapsed last year we knew that we could combine our expertise of running events and our love of glamping and create something unique for the travel market. We can’t wait for people to create their very own glamping escape – after the last year we’re all in need of something to look forward to and we’re hoping our tailor-made trips are just what the doctor ordered.”
