Harry’s Cider to launch Pink Rhubarb fruit cider during Southwest Cider Week

Somerset craft cider producer Harry’s Cider Company will be launching a new Pink Rhubarb cider this month at an open day on 17 April as part of the Southwest Cider Week celebrations.

Harry’s Pink Rhubarb cider has a delicate and refreshing flavour, with a hint of nectarine and some vanilla notes on the finish. Light pink in colour, it is the third fruit cider launched by the award-winning family-run business, with the full range now available in 330ml glass bottles as well as the 3 litre pouches and 20 litre bag-in-box formats. Harry’s fruit ciders have an abv of just 4% and are best served chilled or over ice. As still ciders, they make a refreshing and delicious alternative to a fruit juice or mixer.

The Harry’s Cider Saturday open day will take place at Littlefield Farm in Long Sutton on Saturday 17 April, running from 12 noon until 5pm. Visitors will be invited to try and buy a range of ciders including the new Pink Rhubarb fruit cider, which will be officially unveiled on the day.

Cider-maker Toby Fry says, “We’re really looking forward to opening up the farm again and introducing visitors to our 330ml bottled fruit cider range, including the brand new Pink Rhubarb variety. Our full range of farmhouse and lightly sparkling ciders will also be on sale, to enjoy here on the farm or to take away, as well as our new apple juice which is ideal for children and those not drinking alcohol.

“Marking the first weekend of reopening for outdoor hospitality and the start of Southwest Cider Week, this promises to be a lovely family-friendly afternoon. We’ll also be hosting a food vendor here all day, selling loaded fries with a variety of meat, vegetarian and vegan toppings, so why not come along and make an afternoon of it?”

All visitors to the farm will be required to wear a face covering and follow social distancing guidelines. For more information, visit www.harryscidercompany.co.uk
