Rave Coffee releases Christmas Blend, bringing festive vibes when it’s cold outside

Brimming with the festive flavours of yuletides gone by, Rave Coffee’s new Christmas Blend is set to bring some caffeinated cheer to the most wonderful time of the year. A go-to brew once the advent calendar doors have been opened, this sustainably sourced, dark roast blend combines beans from Mexico, Ethiopia and Costa Rica to deliver flavours of boozy fruit cake and dark chocolate truffles.

With aromas of orange peel and an intense fruit sweetness on the palate, balanced by a rich cocoa finish, this in an indulgent limited edition blend that’s been achieved with a diverse selection of next-level beans. Each grower has employed a different processing method, with Washed, Natural and Honey beans all bringing something special into the mix, from the sweet and balanced base provided by the Mexican Los Machos, through to the red fruit and florals from the Ethiopian Birbissa and the honey and malt from the Costa Rican Hermosa.

Each coffee has been sourced with the planet and growing communities in mind, as climate change and pressure on natural resources continues to threaten the future of farms and farming families. In Mexico, Rave’s partnership with social enterprise, Raw Material has seen farmers paid far above commodity prices to encourage further production following severely low yields. The naturally processed Ethiopian Birbissa uses very little water, allowing remote farms to save precious resources, while the Hermosa coffee is produced by a Costa Rican Cooperative that empowers local smallholders by combining coffee lots.

Created for the season of giving, this coffee will also give back to the planet with every sale. Rave’s 1% for the Planet commitment will see 1% of all sales donated to environmental causes, regardless of whether it makes a profit, making it a hot drink for warm hearts.

Rave Coffee’s Christmas Blend will be available to purchase at ravecoffee.co.uk from Monday 25 October, priced at £8.95 for 250g or £30.45 for 1kg.
