Biokef

Kefir is a nutrient rich, bio-live drink made from milk and live cultures. It has a wealth of health benefits; it supports metabolism, contains gut-friendly bacteria, it’s a good source of protein and it’s high in calcium.

Biokef is produced sustainably on a family-run farm in Devon using milk from grass-fed jersey cows that live happy long lives. These delicious, organic kefirs are rich and creamy, and it’s special on many levels: 100% natural ingredients; all flavours are certified organic; contains gut-friendly bacteria; a dash of honey in its flavoured kefirs provides natural sweetness; the company adds an amazing 16% of real fruit purees. All this goodness is packed in premium, eco-friendly, glass bottles.

Biokef is a mouthwatering drink available in four delicious variants: Original, Honey & Cinnamon, Blueberry and Strawberry. A delicious drink on its own, as breakfast on the go; ideal poured over your granola, porridge or cereal; makes a creamy smoothie mixed with your favourite fruit; and a perfect pick-me-up after the gym.

The company Biokef was founded by Agata – a kefir fanatic obsessed with kefir and gut health, since overcoming a gut issue herself. Her diet had to change completely in order to get her health back on track. This included cooking meals from scratch, eating lots of vegetables, fruits, grains, fish and drinking kefir of course. She thinks that kefir is incredibly versatile, nutritious, healthy and above all, a delicious drink that can be enjoyed by the whole family.

Alexander (Agata’s son) has loved kefir since he was 5 years old. He has it instead of yoghurt at breakfast time with cereal and fruit, or on its own at snack time. He knows that it’s good for his tummy as it’s very low in sugar, has lots of gut-friendly bacteria and is packed with essential vitamins.

Biokef searched far and wide for the best production partner. Finally they found a dairy that shared their passion and commitment for producing kefir that contains the highest quality ingredients and is truly 100% natural. They work with a family run farm in beautiful Devon. They’re not only lovely and hard-working people, but they also share their ethics to sustainably produce the best kefir for you to enjoy.

Follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
