After much anticipation, leading craft spirits brand the Devon Rum Co. is proud to announce themselves as Taste of the West Gold Award Winners for the second year in a row!
The Totnes-based brand once again battled it out against the South West’s finest beverages to gain not one, but two Gold Awards in the wines, spirits, and liqueurs category.
This accolade makes them the first rum brand to ever achieve back-to-back Golds in the prestigious Taste of the West Awards.
The two Gold Honours were presented to the brand’s best-selling Premium Spiced and Honey Spiced Rums, both of which took Gold in last year’s ceremony as well.
On this achievement, Head of Sales Giles Gray said: “We’re thrilled to have won two Golds for the second year in a row and be crowned the first ever rum brand to win back-to-back awards! A lot of hard work goes into crafting our range of artisan rums, and it’s great to see them recognised by such a highly regarded organisation as Taste of the West.”
Having launched later in the year, the brand’s super smooth Premium Golden Rum currently awaits judging in the final phase of this year’s Taste of the West Awards, with results being announced in July.
