Local Wadebridge pub to re-open with new look, new feel, and new name

The Falcon pub in Wadebridge has closed this month and is set to return as The Pearl and Trawl at Wadebridge with a brand-new look – officially reopening on 30th June.

The newly renovated pub will focus on providing quality food and drink, as well as a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Guests can expect an anthology of expertly crafted cask ales, alongside a dedicated shelf of malt whiskeys, gins galore, and an extensive wine list. Great food is also at the heart of this venue, so get ready for legendary pub-classics with delightfully-fresh modern twists.

Alongside a complete overhaul of the menus, this major refurbishment of The Pearl and Trawl at Wadebridge will exude all the homely features of a traditional country pub. Interior delights include a refreshed new paint palate of Farrow & Ball colours, roaring open fire, hand-crafted wall panelling and bespoke soft furnishings. As for the exterior, guests will be able to dine al fresco in the pubs heated terrace. There is also a beer garden with freshly lain lawn, perfect for those summer month gatherings with friends and family.

Whether you’re looking for a quiet pint with a friend, or if it’s date night with your better half, The Pearl and Trawl at Wadebridge provides exquisite comfort and quality for all occasions. The reimagined food and drink menu features a seasonal selection of dishes, including classic pub favourites guaranteed to impress and cater to any dietary requirement.

For roast dinner enthusiasts, every Sunday choose from a selection of favourites; roast beef topside, roast pork leg, chicken supreme or vegetable roast – roasted squash, mushroom and lentil roast topped with a mango and cranberry fruit compote, perfectly paired with herb roasted potatoes, sticky braised red cabbage, seasonal greens, maple roasted carrots and parsnips, home-made Yorkshire pudding and red wine gravy. Children’s roast dinner portions are also available.

To complete the dining experience, guests can also select from a range of decadent desserts including an Espresso Martini Tiramisu – vanilla sponge topped with vodka coffee soaked sponge fingers with mascarpone cream and lightly dusted cocoa.

Andy and Gail, General Managers at The Pearl and Trawl at Wadebridge, said: “We can’t wait to see our regulars again as well as welcoming new guests to our local pub. The new look and feel inside and out is fantastic and I personally can’t wait to introduce everyone to our brand-new food and drinks menu as well as our new, personalised service style.”

Ahead of the reopening, guests will be able to enjoy 50% off food as part of its soft launch, available to guests from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th June – with limited slots available to book online now. For more information and to book a table, please head to the pearlandtrawlwadebridge.co.uk

The Pearl and Trawl at Wadebridge, will be creating 40 new jobs for the local area, and interested candidates can apply now via the website. For careers, please head to www.marstonscareers.co.uk.
