Devon-based drinks specialist Azu Spirits have updated their at-home spirits tasting kits. The whisky and gin tasting boxes offer a blind tasting experience tailored for dinner parties and other group settings with a range of premium spirits for customers to try.
Coming in luxury packaging, the classic tasting boxes contain six 100ml numbered bottles of single malt whiskies or craft and classic gins. Six name tags describe the unique qualities of each spirit. Tasters can test their palate and try to match the name tags to the numbered bottles, with the answer hidden in the ‘reveal’ envelope.
The Whisky collection has a range of single malts showcasing the diversity in Scotch whisky while the Great British Gins box provides an opportunity to explore the evolution of gin in the UK. A South West Craft Gins box features inspiring craft gin brands from the region.
Each tasting set comes with an introductory leaflet explaining how to hold a blind tasting event, contained in a luxury wax-sealed envelope. The whisky selections showcase a range of premium Scottish single malts such as Talisker 10, Ledaig 18, Dalmore 18, Macallan Rare Cask and Bunnahabhain Moine 22-year-old Pedro Ximenez Finish. Premium gins featured in the tasting boxes include Bombay Sapphire, Tanqueray and Plymouth Gin as well as craft spirits like Wrecking Coast Clotted Cream, Papillon Gin and Atlantic Distillery ‘Ring of Fire’.
