Summer got you feeling a little hot and bothered? Everyone’s favourite high-street cocktail bar, Slug & Lettuce, has got just the ticket to keep you cool. Four new limited edition ice cream-inspired cocktails (available in bars until 30th September) PLUS an ice cream van rolling into Bournemouth & Bristol this August to dish out a dollop of chill.
The S&L ice cream van will be touring the country, giving away 500 free ice creams in each location. The first 30 early birds will also receive an exclusive goodie bag including a Beauty BLVD lipstick. Partygoers can scan a QR code to get a free summer cocktail at any Slug & Lettuce throughout the summer months*.
So, whether you’re a lemon sorbet lover or more in the mood for a pornstar martini (flavoured ice cream), get yourself down to Avenue Road, Bournemouth from 12.00pm on Thursday 18th August, and find them in Bristol on Friday 19th August (follow them on Instagram @sluglettuce to find out where & when!).

Summer just got a whole lot sweeter! Slug & Lettuce has announced the launch of its new, limited edition summer menu. Four fabulous cocktails, each inspired by a different delicious ice cream, will be available in all Slug & Lettuce bars until the end of September. Introducing…
Fab You Lous: Feeling fruity? Cool off with a Fab You Lous. It’s pretty, it’s pink, and it’s totally FAB. Gordon’s Premium Pink gin, grenadine and strawberry syrup with lemon juice and pineapple juice, topped off with sprinkles (of course).- Mag Yum: Maybe you’re more in the mood for a Mag Yum. The classy lass of the ice creams, made with Smirnoff Red Label vodka, Disaronno Velvet cream liqueur and caramel syrup, finished with chocolate powder.
- Slugero: For a taste of the exotic, take a sip of the Slugero – a little drop of sunshine mixed with Havana Club 3-year-old rum, Malibu coconut rum, passionfruit purée and mango juice, finished with squirty cream.
- Tongue Twister: For the traditionalists, there’s the Tongue Twister – everyone’s favourite ice lolly with a boozy twist! Smirnoff Vanilla vodka, melon liqueur, lemon juice and apple juice, drizzled with grenadine.
Slug & Lettuce will also be hosting two themed bottomless brunches to celebrate the season in style. Live it up like a Love Islander or get your groove on to the tunes from Grease on 28th August and 24th September.
