Curious Kombucha were crowned Taste of the West’s Champion Non-Alcoholic Cold Drink of the year in 2021 for their outstanding Cucumber, Lime & Mint Kombucha, and this year, their Orange, Pomegranate and CBD Kombucha has won Gold.
After a successful career as a brewster, Emma turned her hand to kombucha after learning about its positive benefits for the gut. Like many people she was looking for a tasty alcohol alternative, and kombucha certainly filled that gap. Attending various food and drink events have enabled Emma to spread the word and share the booch love.
She is constantly developing new flavours using innovative ingredients. Going forward she plans to keep doing what she does, making authentic wholesome kombucha and remaining true to her core beliefs, openness, integrity, and passion.
In the summer of 2020 Emma won a Gold Taste of the West Award for her Raspberry & Turmeric Kombucha. Then in 2021 she won another 3 Gold Taste of the West Awards for Cucumber, Lime & Mint Kombucha, Blackcurrant & Ginger Kombucha and Pineapple & Ginger Kombucha. Since then, she has won another Taste of the West Gold for her Orange, Pomegranate and CBD Kombucha.
Emma commented: “Being a Taste of the West member has not only given me access to a wide variety of potential stockists but as the logo is so well recognised and respected being an award winner has directly impacted sales. Kombucha is still relatively unknown, the awards I have won have given consumers the confidence to try my products.”
