Heavenly hampers filled with Devon-made treats added to Flapjackery’s range

Flapjackery, Devon’s much loved company that specialises in hand made flapjacks, has introduced an exciting new selection of hampers to its range in readiness for Christmas.

The hampers are laden with its delicious gluten free flapjacks, fudge, clusters and other delicious sweet treats that are packed with the finest British ingredients. It has also introduced bright new tea towels, aprons, jigsaw puzzles and mugs to its offering featuring a print of an original painting of a stack of flapjacks by Devon-based Dollyhotdogs.

The hampers are guaranteed to have their recipients licking their lips in sugary joy this Christmas as they nibble on the most delectable tastes.

Prices start at £25, with the star of the show Flapjackery’s Ultimate Christmas Treats Hamper (£80). This gorgeous hamper contains a myriad of treats with the most sublime flavours and when the last crumb has been nibbled, a gorgeous tea towel, mug and coaster will evoke memories of happy times devouring Devon-made treats.

Flapjackery has won multiple awards including five Taste of the West Gold Awards in 2022 for its shops in Tavistock, Plymouth, Minehead, Wells, and St Ives. This year it also won five gold awards for Chocolate Fudge, Cranberry and Orange Dark Chocolate Clusters, Peanut and Raisin Milk Chocolate Clusters, Chocolate Fudge Flapjack and Summer Fruits Crumble Flapjack. In 2021 it received Taste of the West Gold Awards for its Lemon Drizzle Flapjack, Peanut Butter Brownie Flapjack – made using Freda’s ‘Gold’ award-winning peanut butter, Traditional Flapjack and Burnt Caramel & Sea Salt Flapjack.

The business was created by Carol Myott and Sally Jenkin in 2015 having met at a farmers’ market in Tavistock west Devon where they both baked cakes to sell. Carol had retired to Devon having run a print business, Sally was selling communication systems for the elderly before setting up and running her own local fudge shop. They shared a passion for home cooking with quality British ingredients, so one day Carol came up with the idea of making flapjacks. Now they employ more than 40 people and have six retail outlets. At 62 and 59 respectively, they are proof that age is no barrier when it comes to creating a great business especially when there’s a decadent, delicious treat at its heart!
