This year’s Dartmouth Food Festival runs from Friday 21st – Sunday 23rd October.
The Festival which started in 2004 is now one of the biggest and best in the South West and attracts highly respected local and national chefs, food writers, wine experts as well as the cream of local food and drink producers.
This year the Festival is delighted to welcome Claudia Roden, the world-renowned food writer who is credited as being responsible for introducing us all to the rich cuisine of the Middle East. Claudia will be in conversation with Henrietta Green on the Saturday evening of the Festival which will be followed by a feast based on her recent book Med, cooked by local chefs Charlie Ramsdale & Daniel Teage.
“We are honoured to have Claudia with us” says Julie Graham, Chair of the event. “She is a living legend and has inspired so many great chefs such as Yottam Ottolenghi. It is surely going to be an evening to remember”.
Other top chefs attending the Festival are Matt Tebbutt, Angela Hartnett, Jane Baxter, Thomasina Miers and Richard Bertinet together with wine experts Susy Atkins and Will Lyons.
The increasingly popular Food Matters programme this year welcomes the likes of Dan Saladino, Tim Spector and Henry Dimbleby while authors Felicity Cloake, Romy Gill and Sam Bilton will be discussing their new books.
