Introducing ‘Work Club’ at the Bucket & Spade Cafe

Although working from home may seem idyllic to most people, it can be lonely and tedious at times with many distractions. With the winter season approaching and the rising energy costs, why not take a break from your usual home office and join the Bucket & Spade’s new ‘Work Club’ in Shaldon. For a small cost of £6 per day, you can use the Bucket & Spade’s Wi-Fi, enjoy unlimited tea and coffee and parking is free. With spectacular panoramic views over the Jurassic coastline, it’s the perfect backdrop so you won’t even feel like you’re working! Visit www.thebucketandspade.com or call 01626 818450 for more information.

Remote working at the Bucket & Spade’s ‘Work Club’ has other benefits; it’s a great way to get your people fix for the day, it can be lonely home alone so it’s a brilliant way to stay sociable. It’s also a good place to share tips and tricks with your fellow ‘coffice’ (coffee shop office) workers and feel part of the local community. By leaving the house you can differentiate between home and work, become more focused and efficient during the day and relax at home during the evenings.

When hunger strikes why not treat yourself to a delicious lunch or choose from a selection of handmade cakes or snacks and take a seat on the popular terrace for some fresh sea air. You’re guaranteed to be tempted by the enticing new menu focusing on locally sourced produce and daily fish specials.

Based at Coast View Holiday Park in Shaldon, The Bucket & Spade Cafe is open to on-site lodge owners and members of the public. Recently awarded Silver at The Taste of the West Awards and two Golds at the Food Drink Devon Awards, the Bucket & Spade is gaining recognition for its outstanding service with a commitment to sourcing local produce for its delectable menu.

Open seven days a week, Coast View Holiday Park leisure members can enjoy the beautifully warm indoor swimming pool or if feeling a little more active use the state-of-the-art gymnasium to work up a sweat before dining in The Bucket & Spade Café. New for this year is the ‘Be Well’ beauty treatment rooms for those who are in need of some pampering.
