Since launching in 2013 The Gorgeous Food Company has been delivering fine food and beverage products to delicatessens, farm shops, butchers and independent food stores across the UK, although previous to this owners Grahame Day & Richard Fennell were no strangers to the speciality food industry, having owned an award winning delicatessen themselves.
Managing Director Grahame Day said, “We opened our delicatessen back in 2008 and whilst we owned the deli we were approached by one of our producers asking us to support them with their wholesale customers, so we started selling tea into cafes, coffee shops and delis. Back then we only had a handful of products and a handful of customers. Since making the move from retail to concentrate fully on wholesale distribution our business has grown considerably both in the number of products in our range which is now almost 2000 and the number of wholesale customers we supply. We are extremely proud of what we have achieved in the past 10 years, none of which could have happened without all of our gorgeous customers and suppliers, many of whom have been with us on our journey from the very beginning.”
As part of their 10 year celebrations The Gorgeous Food Company has a number of events and activities planned which will commence with some gorgeous giveaway offers to coincide with The Farmshop & Deli Show at the NEC in April.
